Photographic Tour of the Amalfi Coast

AmalfiThe Amalfi Coast is one of the places in Italy which has so much to offer for those who wish to pass their vacation there. The beaches are frequented by many celebrities, the night life is great, the possibility of getting lost amongst the many local traditions, are just some of the many aspects that can provoke an uncontrollable desire to visit the ” Divine” Amalfi.

The aspect that I wish to take into consideration in this article is about the beauty of nature, from the point of view of a photographer, whether amateur or professional.

I need to say that by choosing the right accommodation you will already have a wonderful starting point to take some great shots of rare beauty.

The accommodation, however, is only the starting point of your photo tour. When reaching the guest house you will realize how much beauty surrounds you and will look forward to start your search for the perfect places Amalfi to take your shots.

Positano is the first place I wish to write about. You may have already heard so much about it already. This small town is like a real pearl in the rock, with houses that are pastel-colored making it an even more harmonious looking landscape that is already sensational. Positano offers beautiful views from every angle, but it will have to be your objective to immortalize the perfect moment with the most beautiful light for wonderful shots.

As you move towards Ravello, my advice is to visit, Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrione. The terraces at both these places offer fantastic breathtaking views. Here you will be able to take shots of pure splendor. The cost of the ticket, which is between 5 and 10 Euros, will be well justified by such spectacular views.

A less popular but equally beautiful town, that I want to tell you about is, Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi. It is very clear from the name: that from this point, there is a view of both gulfs of Salerno and of Naples, at the same time, laying exactly between Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast.

Once you arrive on site, look for the Monastery of the Benedictine Nuns, it offers the best views and if you have a the means to take panoramic pictures or of 360 degrees, well, this is the time to do it, because the pictures will turn out like something truly unique!

I want to conclude this article by informing the skilled photographers with a path to follow. Much loved by trekkers, but basically accessible a bit for all, if poceeded with caution and in the cooler months, is the Path of Gods, which connects Nocelle and Bomerano, two fractions of Positano and Agerola.

Here, your camera must be charged and always at your fingertips, because this path which is surrounded by nature offers fantastic views of the sea. When admiring the island of Capri, it seems so close that you feel like you can touch it. The Gulf of Naples and the many gifts that nature of Amalfi has to offer.

In fact, your photos will include not only landscapes, but also the hundreds of different species of animals, plants and flowers, sometimes also very rare.

There is no doubt, therefore, that your opt for the Amalfi Coast is the right choice if you are looking for unique subjects for photo shots. Do not hesitate any further and begin to organize your photo shoot tour!

If you decide to stay in an agricultural guest house like this , between the Amalfi Coast and the Sorrento Peninsula, not only will you immediately enjoy some wonderful views with unique opportunities for incredible shots, but you will find yourself immersed in the midst of nature, ideal for every self-respecting photographer.
