At the Antartic Encounter section, visitors can see the cute penguins that are inside an enclosed glass area. The fish Gallery and Sea horse Kingdom showcases fascinating sea creatures like sea horses, octopus, moray eels, stonefish, pufferfish and crayfish. Other fun sections of the aquarium include the Stingray Bay and NIWA Southern Oceans Discovery. Adventurous visitors can also join the sharks in the shark cage encounter.
This largest and oldest park in Auckland is the perfect place to spend a relaxing day. The main attraction of this park is the ‘Auckland War Memorial Museum’. This museum tells you all about New Zealand’s history. The building of this museum is considered to be the most iconic building in Auckland. The museum houses a large collection of historical artifacts and war equipment used in the World War 1 and 2. The park also has sports fields and glass houses within which are interesting plants.
