This charming little town is full of Alpine character and has some great skiing on the surrounding slopes too.
The skiing in La Tania itself is outstanding, with access to the largest ski area in the world right on the doorstep. An excellent lift system links the different valleys and offers access to around 600kms of slopes. Snow cannons keep the lower slopes in tip-top condition, and there are some fabulous ski schools catering for both beginners and experts wanting to improve on their techniques.
La Tania has three runs back into resort, including a green one for beginners. This stunning trail leads right through the forest and is perfect for those just getting started on skis or snowboards. You can be at a lift within minutes of your catered chalet, and for complete beginners there is a free draglift right at the heart of the resort.
